Couch to 10K

The courses run for 12 weeks, with a graduation 10k run on the final day. You will be running from day one, three times per week, gradually building up your fitness and endurance. You will join a coached group session every Monday and run two weekly sessions at any time, according to your own schedule.

This program is designed for beginners and anyone wanting to get back to running. The 10K distance has been chosen because that’s what a normal club training session covers, so once you complete the program you will be perfectly prepared to join the main club sessions.

Our qualified UK Athletics coaches will guide you through the program and support you along the way. There will be a dedicated C210k Facebook group for support and encouragement and, if you join WCH, you will also have access to the Member’s Only Facebook group.
