


The Wee County Junior Harriers running club is open to any young person between the ages of 8 & 16 who wants to run, providing an enjoyable introduction to the world of running that is safe, fun and progressive. The training sessions cover the broad spectrum of running types, including track, road, mixed terrain and cross country disciplines. There are four training groups within the club to cover the broad age range of the group each with its own lead coach.

The Junior Harriers has a team of volunteer coaches & leaders. All are PVG (Disclosure Scotland) certified.
UK Athletics Safeguarding Children & Welfare Guidelines
Our club follows the UKA guidelines regarding safeguarding children and their welfare. All coaches & leaders are PVG certified (Disclosure Scotland) and parent helpers are not permitted to work with any groups or individuals without a coach or leader being present.
