Devilla Day Out!!

Posted on Updated on

Well done to all the Wee County Harriers who took part in the Devilla 15k. Conditions were perfect and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves (apart from the odd slip here and there).

A special mention to Bob Warnock for being first man home and Linda Lucey for first lady. Also all of you who were able to post a PB. That said, on that course and on a clear winters day, it genuinely was a pleasure to participate regardless.

Once again, well done to all!!

Running Pace Calculator added to Website

Posted on Updated on

The Jack Daniels running pace calculator has been added to the site on the Training menu. It allows you to understand your times in terms of predicting what they might be for different distances and it also suggests the type of pace you should be running in training for intervals, tempo, etc. based on the actual times you are currently doing.

All you need to do is enter either a known time for a race you have recently completed along with the distance, or what you consider your time/mile pace to be for a particular distance.

If nothing else it’s a bit of fun, have a play around with it and see what you think —-> Running Calculator
